Our goal is to bring healing and hope to African children who live in communities devastated by poverty and AIDS. We do this
by providing for basic human needs first, then developing local resources that support long term change, one community/one child at
a time.
A very heartfelt 'Thank You!' to all who attended our 2nd annual Spring Benefit. Your donations and interest in our organization
are sincerely appreciated! Check back for pictures and additional information.

Welcome to Aid Africa’s Children. Thank you for caring about the destiny of children whose lives have been affected by the global
pandemic of AIDS. Colin Powell once called AIDS "the greatest weapon of mass destruction the world has ever known". According
to the 2006 report of UNAIDS, there are at least thirteen million children in sub-Saharan Africa and fifteen million worldwide who
are orphans due to AIDS. Although the economic and social effects on African society are devastating, there is reason for
hope!
Just three years ago, less than 2% of Africans in need of antiretroviral drug therapy for AIDS were receiving that treatment.
Today, that number of treated has risen to 17%. HIV infection rates are actually coming down in several African nations. The United
States government has launched an unprecedented avalanche of financial aid aimed at fighting the battle of AIDS in Africa.
Public figures including Bill Gates, Bono, Oprah Winfrey, Angelina Jolie and Madonna have lent their support and their name to the
fight. Hundreds of grassroots organizations are rising up across America, bringing hope to the sick and the poor.
Aid Africa's Children
has a dream and a mission: to bring hope, healing and new life to African communities devastated by AIDS and poverty. We hope our
website will reveal to you some of the ways we are making a difference for the children of Africa. Won't you join us? Together
we can make a difference—one child, and one community at a time!
